KORE for Sports and Remedial

KORE works to treat and prevent injury

  • Treats muscles that are fatigued or heavy from hard training or competition
  • Ideal for pre and post event massage to help with competition preparation or recovery
  • Involves a thorough screening to facilitate a tailored sports and remedial massage using a range of massage techniques.

Sports and remedial massage addresses deviations in posture, muscle imbalances and compensation patterns. Mobility and flexibility is restored to restricted muscles and joints, while injured or weakened muscles are strengthened and lengthened. Strained muscles can be treated, and help can be given to prevent the development more serious issues. Improves Lymphatic and vascular circulation.

I trained in Sports and Remedial massage (many years ago!) but am utterly convinced that KORE Therapy can offer so much more than treating injuries. Pain is not always where the cause is.

Even if you are functioning fairly well as an athlete, KORE can optimise your power through your muscular skeletal system. By balancing the pelvis and releasing the neck, you will notice your gait is more efficient and stable. We all get our energy from our food, water and breath. But our respiratory and digestive systems are not always optimal. KORE can address this. KORE can also help us be at the top of our game by removing emotional or mental blocks that hinder us.

The video below explains how KORE can help with sports issues. It contains a short explanation by Dr.John Brazier the founder of K.O.R.E therapy of what it means and how it can help you realign  your body and bring back proper power and function.

What does it cost?

An hour-long session costs £55. Allow an extra 20 minutes for the first session, to cover screening and diagnosis, there is no extra charge for this. Gift vouchers are available.
